In the movie there's a scene where Kevin Bacon's character plays some one-on-one with a recruit, with the ultimate result that the recruit decides not to go to their school. During a subsequent coaches' meeting, one of them asks "How much did we spend on this kid?" The answer includes (among quite a bit of other extravagance) "37 sweatshirts".
