There is exactly one word in the Official Scrabble Players' Dictionary with the consonant/vowel pattern "cvvvvvc". (It's miaoued.) There are many other c/v patterns for which this is also true. There are many patterns for which there are exactly 2 words. There are many patterns for which there are exactly 3 words, and so on. ... The first number for which there is no pattern with exactly that many words is 37.
